we are looking for professional Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) / Video Remote Interpreters (VRI) to facilitate clear and accurate communication between English speakers and Cape Verdean Creole speakers.
Requirements
Your background and experience
----------------------------------
Native in Cape Verdean Creole, fluent in English.
Minimum 1-year OPI or VRI experience with a recognized interpretation provider.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
Awareness of legal terminology is a plus.
International healthcare certifications (PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.) are an advantage.
High school diploma in your native language.
High emotional intelligence and ability to work across cultures.
Excellent communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
