Job Description

SUMMARY:



Establishes a CAFM system and controls its on-going use



PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:



o Provide advice to the Client or their software developers of the capabilities that a CAFM should have


o Test the developed system at various stages to ascertain it is functioning as a CAFM system would and advise accordingly


o Make recommendations for ease of use


o Contribute to the user manual


o Develop a full understanding of its capabilities


o Develop templates for the collation of asset and other data


o Oversee the development of the asset register


o Assign SFG 20 (or other specifications) to assets and frequencies


o In conjunction with other Service Providers allocate tasks and activities


o Spread out PPM evenly over the year


o Train the Service Stream and other managers


o Ensure other managers enter additional HSE or tool and materials requirements


o Determine the number of user licenses and access protocols


o Allocate user licenses


o Train the Client team


o Train the Service Providers


o Train the Help Desk staff


o Oversee implementation and "go live"


o Monitor usage to ensure it is being used correctly


o Develop template reports to suit different needs


o Develop a template for inclusion in the monthly report


o Provide data and reports as required


o Attend client and internal meetings


o Identify and manage risks.





REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:



Position Reports to: Contract Manager


Direct Reports: TBC


LOCATION:



Dammam, Saudi Arabia





QUALIFICATIONS





Education / Certification / Knowledge:



o Bachelors degree in a related subject or otherwise extensive industry experience and demonstrated capabilities


o Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office environment including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook





Experience:



o Approx. 5 to 10 years related experience





Skills/Abilities:



o Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills and a positive attitude


o Strong verbal and written communication skills


o Proven skills related to the position


o Strong communication and interpersonal skills


o Ability to delegate tasks and supervise others


o Great multi-tasking abilities and attention to detail





WORK ENVIRONMENT





o Typical office environment the working hours being 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., five days per week


o Attending site at weekends and evenings if necessary





REQUIRED PHYSICAL ABILITIES





o Able to walk around a large site in hot weather and access difficult areas for inspection


o Manual and physical dexterity needed to operate a computer keyboard with sufficient vision to read information appearing on computer display screen, in handwritten forms, and printed on paper


o Adequate hearing and verbal abilities to communicate effectively in person and by telephone
