Job Description

The Cafe Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the cafe, ensuring a high level of customer service, maintaining quality standards, and supervising staff to ensure a smooth workflow. The role involves both front-of-house duties and back-end coordination, including inventory control, staff scheduling, and adherence to hygiene and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:



Supervise and support the cafe team to deliver excellent customer service. Oversee daily operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and POS transactions. Train, motivate, and schedule team members to ensure optimal performance. Ensure the cafe is clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times. Monitor product quality, presentation, and consistency. Manage inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for orders and deliveries. Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally. Enforce health, safety, and food hygiene standards in accordance with local regulations. Assist with marketing promotions and seasonal menu changes when needed. Report to management on staff performance, sales, and operational issues.

Qualifications & Requirements:



Proven experience in a similar role within the F&B or hospitality industry. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using POS systems and basic computer applications. Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
