Job Description

• Manage day-to-day operations of the cafe
• Train employees on drinks preparation and proper use of coffee equipment
• Coordinate with operations and order supplies, as needed (like takeaway cups, coffee, milk and other ingredients)
• Maintain updated records of daily, weekly and monthly revenues and expenses
• Advise staff on the best ways to resolve issues with clients and deliver excellent customer service
• Ensure all cafe areas are clean and tidy
• Nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputation
• Updating and management of P.O.S
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance of all associates is clean and professional at all times
• Monitor the operation of the cafe to ensure compliance with all standards and procedures established by company and health and regulatory standards and procedures
• Anticipates customer and department needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues

• Requirements and skills
• Work experience as a Cafe Manager
• 1+ years of team lead, supervisory, or management experience

• 3+ years prior professional experience in retail and/or food service required

• Hands-on experience with professional coffee machines
• Good math skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
• Customer service attitude
• Must have full availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays

• High school diploma
• Additional certification is a plus
