Cafe Manager (Chain Cafe Experience Required)
We are looking for a strong, hands-on Cafe Manager to lead daily operations at Matcha Vibes Cafe, a fast-growing, matcha-focused cafe concept. This role is ideal for someone with proven experience in chain cafes, who understands scalable operations, team leadership, and how to grow a community-driven business.

Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day cafe operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and consistent performance in line with chain cafe standards.
Manage and supervise staff schedules, shifts, attendance, and productivity while maintaining high service and product quality.
Recruit, train, and develop team members, setting clear standards and building a motivated, accountable team.
Ensure every guest receives a consistent, high-quality matcha experience, aligned with the Matcha Vibes brand and values.
Oversee beverage and food preparation, ensuring recipe accuracy, speed, consistency, and presentation across all shifts.
Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships, with a strong focus on cost control, quality, and stock accuracy.
Drive sales growth and operational efficiency, identifying opportunities to improve revenue, reduce waste, and optimize processes.
Actively support community-building initiatives, including events, tastings, collaborations, and social media activations, helping turn guests into loyal regulars.
Work closely with management on marketing initiatives, promotions, and in-store activations that increase footfall and customer engagement.
Monitor financial performance, including daily sales, expenses, labor cost, and KPIs; prepare regular operational reports.
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations at all times.
Take full ownership of cafe operations, continuously improving systems and preparing the location for future scaling.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Cafe Manager or Restaurant Manager in a high-volume or chain cafe environment.
Strong understanding of chain operations, SOPs, staff KPIs, cost control, and performance management.
Clear, confident English communication is mandatory (spoken and written).
Proven ability to grow a cafe business, increase repeat customers, and build a strong local community.
Passion for matcha and specialty beverages; experience in tea or matcha concepts is a strong advantage.
Excellent leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to motivate and hold teams accountable.
Strong operational mindset with hands-on experience in inventory, scheduling, supplier coordination, and POS systems.
Proactive, solution-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently and take responsibility.

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience
