We're Hiring: CAD Engineer
Location: Dubai

We are seeking a qualified

CAD Engineer

for a full-time position with specific expertise in

SolidWorks

. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of

three years of proven experience

in designing sheet metal products. We welcome applications from all qualified individuals.

Responsibilities

Create and redesign 2D/3D sheet metal products for industrial air ventilation and air filtration systems using CAD software. Prepare and optimize nesting layouts for CNC laser cutting, punching, and bending processes. Understand the constraints and objectives of parts to be designed or updated. Ensure the quality and timely delivery of CAD deliverables. Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and other design documentation. Perform self-quality checks on CAD models and drawings. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while effectively prioritizing tasks. Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Ensure compliance with design and safety standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Responsibilities are not limited to the above list.

Skills & Qualifications

Diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. 2-4 years of hands-on experience in modelling, drafting, and designing sheet metal products. Strong CAD skills, including AutoCAD Drafting and SolidWorks (Sheet Metal, Assemblies, Design Automation, and Drawings). Experience in sheet metal fabrication processes such as bending, welding, surface treatment, and assembly. Analytical, creative, and abstract thinking abilities. Detail-oriented, with a focus on quality and continuous improvement. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including proficiency in technical English. Basic project management understanding.

Added Advantage:

Experience with SolidWorks Composer, nesting software, or rendering tools.
