As a Fabrication CAD Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering and production department. Your primary responsibility will be to create accurate Bills of Quantity (BOQs) from received drawings for quotation purposes.
Additionally, your responsibilities will include:
Technical Drawings and Documentation:
Prepare shop drawings
Prepare material submittals
Production Oversight:
Monitor production processes and operations.
Generate regular progress reports.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Proven experience in steel fabrication industry.
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
Strong understanding of steel sections (e.g., flat bars, angles, pipes, channels, H-beams, I-beams) and their applications in structural design.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of SolidWorks CAD is an advantage.
