Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for creating and modifying technical drawings and plans for construction projects. Preparation of detailed layouts, sections, and elevations using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications and industry standards. The role involves close coordination with engineers, architects, and site teams to support the successful execution of projects.

Technical Drawings & Drafting:

Prepare architectural, structural & detailed drawings based on project requirements.

Develop shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings as needed.

Ensure drawings adhere to local building codes, industry standards, and project specifications.

Coordination & Revisions:

Work closely with engineers, architects, and site teams to incorporate design changes.

Update and modify drawings based on engineer and client feedback.

Ensure drawings are properly labelled, scaled, and formatted for submission and approval.

Documentation & Record Keeping

Maintain an organized database of drawings, revisions, and approvals.

Ensure all drawings are accurate, up-to-date, and meet company documentation standards.

Assist in preparing technical reports, material take-offs, and quantity calculations.

Site & Project Support

Provide technical support to site teams by clarifying drawing details.

Conduct occasional site visits to verify dimensions and assist in implementation.

Identify and report any discrepancies or conflicts in drawings

Other Ad Hoc tasks that the Head of Design assigns.

Ensure that work activities are compliant with internal policies and external/industry regulations; including professional ethics and code of conduct.

Always align work ethics to company objectives and continuously seek improvement towards work responsibilities.

Participates in company HR programs in staff engagement, talent development and other initiatives to improve performance and professionalism at work.
