to support our acoustic design and consultancy team at Dubai Acoustic Research Laboratory (DARL). The ideal candidate will have strong experience in CAD and BIM, a background in
HVAC engineering
, and a willingness to learn
EASE
(acoustic simulation software).
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage accurate 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD and BIM tools (e.g., Revit)
Work closely with the acoustic consultants to produce drawings, layouts, and design documentation
Coordinate BIM models across disciplines and ensure consistency with project requirements
Support visualisation and layout development for reports and presentations
Learn and assist with EASE modelling for acoustic simulations
Requirements:
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
Experience working on HVAC or building services projects
Familiarity with architectural and MEP coordination drawings
Willingness to learn new tools, particularly EASE
Attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a collaborative approach
Based in or willing to relocate to Dubai
Preferred Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree
in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Architectural Engineering, or Drafting/Design Technology
Prior experience in a design consultancy or multidisciplinary team
Interest in acoustics or experience supporting acoustic design is a plus
