They should have 3-5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry
1. Post-Award Contract Management: Negotiate, draft, and review contracts, including but not limited to vendor agreements, client contracts, and subcontractor agreements. Ensure contracts comply with legal requirements and internal policies. Identify and mitigate contractual risks and propose solutions. Manage contract modifications, extensions, and terminations. 2. Sourcing, Contract Negotiation and Drafting: Lead negotiations for complex contracts, including vendor agreements, client contracts, and high-value contracts- follow Tender Process to develop ITT, and manage the initial sourcing. Work within sourcing process to increase number of approved suppliers, eliminate single source of supply situation and assure having updated lower and fair market price. 3. Contract Administration: Oversee contract performance to ensure all parties meet their obligations. Monitor contract milestones and deliverables. Resolve disputes and conflicts arising from contracts. Maintain accurate contract records and documentation. 3. Compliance and Risk Management: Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting contracts. Implement risk management strategies to minimize potential contract-related issues. Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards in contract practices. 4. Cost Management: Monitor and control contract-related costs and expenditures. Identify opportunities for cost savings and value optimization within contracts. 5. Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including legal, procurement, and project management, to align contract terms with organizational goals.Communicate contract terms and obligations to relevant stakeholders. 6.Contractual Documentation: Prepare and maintain documentation related to contracts, including contract summaries, reports, and compliance records. 7. Contract Performance Analysis: Analyze and report on contract performance and compliance. Provide insights and recommendations for improving contract processes.
