Job Description
Verifies that appropriate attention is given to all aspects of procurement by monitoring information and conformity to established practices. . Identifies suppliers capable of meeting The Company's needs. . Plans, schedules, and ensures that procurement schedules are compatible with schedules, especially critical equipment. . Advises team members of delivery schedules that directly impact the schedule. . Intervenes with suppliers on performance issues at the request of the team. . Maintains basic knowledge of suppliers and relevant market developments . Helps determine overall needs and presents these needs and opportunities to supply managers and purchasing specialists. . Develop procurement plan and ensure alignment with plan . Helps resolve equipment procurement problems. Performs any other job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervision.
