DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:Comprehensive knowledge of the Hotel and Residences, including all departments, services, outlets and Dubai
Always have a smile, with a helpful and friendly attitude towards colleagues and guests alike
Provide assistance and information to all guests
Provide courteous and professional service at all times
Maintain privacy and security of in-house guests and is continually proactive in all areas of operation
Well informed of current in-house functions and events taking place
Build a rapport with all in-house guests, ensure guests are recognized and obtain specific individual needs (likes/dislikes) in order to maintain guest history files and a high level of feedback within the department
Ensures that all rooms are checked prior to arrival of guests and maintains that the full rooming standards are correct in accordance to the amenities and set-up
Up sell rooms/suites and cross sell and promote the resort’s facilities first, then refer and suggest other hotels, if we cannot meet the guest’s requests
Communicate closely with all departments to ensure guest expectations are met
Services and refreshes rooms and suites, assists with turndown service, delivers and places evening amenities and gifts
Be thoroughly knowledgeable of all in-room services, amenities, functions, systems, as well as Opera and Micros
Report for duty punctually and in accordance to the issued department roster
Report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform, name badge at all times and adhere to the Palazzo Versace grooming standards
Attend the daily briefing sessions
Fully responsible for the butler pantries on each floor
Coordinate laundry and pressing – collection and delivery
Provide a full shoeshine service
Offer packing and unpacking services as requested
Maintain full control of Private Bar replenishment, control and ordering of stock
Be aware of the hotel’s fire and emergency procedure
To comply with the hotel’s health, safety and hygiene policy
Provide tea, coffee, and beverage service to all rooms
Support and assist Senior Management and perform duties and responsibilities as assigned by Senior Management
