Job Description

The primary focus of a Sales Consultant (Pre-sales) is to become an expert in a core set of Oracle products and solutions and to present the value proposition and benefits of our solutions to our partners, prospects and customers and internally to our sales force

As an Associate Internet Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical/functional support to prospective clients and customers via the internet, while ensuring customer satisfaction. Deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate Oracle product*s strengths, relative to competitors. Participate in the design, validation, and presentation of Oracle software solutions.

Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and procedures. 1 year experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Working knowledge of Windows or NT. UNIX knowledge a plus. Will provide supervision of manager or mentor. Bachelor degree or equivalent with 1 - 3 years prior business experience preferred.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do

Work in multi-groups engagement teams with experts from sales, pre-sales, consulting, and solution architecture to help shape technology opportunities in EMEA

Provide direct deal support by leveraging knowledge of IT specific challenges and solutions, advisory skills and analytical abilities in identifying key strategic drivers for CIO\xe2\x80\x99s, assessing process capabilities and developing business value propositions

Integrate knowledge of best practices, latest technology trends (e.g. cloud, big data, digitalization), operational objectives and IT objectives to define a clear strategy and roadmap with actionable value communication

Find solutions through data analysis

Influence thinking and create acceptance by multiple customer constituencies

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll bring
  • Preferably a Degree in Business Administration
  • Up to 4 years\xe2\x80\x99 relevant experience \xe2\x80\x93 experience in management consulting would be highly valuable
Analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to structure complex problems, develop hypotheses, and present well-supported solutions

Technical passion: You have an interest and curiosity in technology concepts; preferably cloud

Communication skills: You have the ability to collaborate and present concepts clearly.

Drive: You\xe2\x80\x99re a self-starter with a passion for learning new subjects on your own, which you then help evangelize with your peers and community.
