Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven

Business Operations & Sales Manager

to oversee and grow our retail jewellery business in Dubai. This is a senior leadership role responsible for managing day-to-day operations, driving sales performance, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and developing strategies to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the UAE jewellery market, strong leadership skills, and proven experience in managing multi-faceted jewellery retail operations.

Key Responsibilities1. Business Operations & Compliance

Oversee daily retail store operations ensuring smooth functioning across all locations. Ensure full compliance with UAE gold, jewellery, and hallmarking regulations. Develop, document, and enforcestandard operating procedures (SOPs) for sales, customer service, inventory, and security.

2. Sales & Business Development

Lead sales teams to achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets. Develop and execute sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new growth opportunities.

3. Purchasing & Inventory Management

Manage procurement of gold, diamonds, and jewellery stock in line with sales demand and business strategy. Negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing and quality standards. Oversee inventory controls, stock audits, and product quality checks.

4. Staff Management & Training

Lead, coach, and mentor sales and operational staff to deliver exceptional customer service. Conduct regular training on product knowledge, upselling techniques, compliance, and store procedures. Establish and monitor KPIs for sales and operational performance.

5. Process Improvement & Strategy

Identify areas for operational efficiency and implement process improvements. Work closely with ownership to define and implement long-term growth strategies. Prepare regular performance and financial reports for management review.

Requirements

Minimum 8 years of experience in UAE retail jewellery business operations, sales, and compliance. Strong understanding of UAE jewellery market regulations, customer preferences, and industry best practices. Proven track record in sales leadership and business growth. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and performance management. Proficiency in ERP/POS systems for jewellery retail is preferred. Fluency in English
