The Spotify Egypt team are looking for a Business Operations Analyst to support the region\'s growth. You will be responsible for business analysis and insights, business planning, regional operating processes and leading cross-functional projects, as well as be the Egypt market expert. In this position, you will work closely with local functional leadership and report to the Head of MSO. The role is based in Egypt.

What You\'ll Do

• Develop insights to inform the Egypt go-to-market strategy through analysis of business metrics, research on market and competitor trends
• Monitor and track performance metrics across the user funnel to identify key risks and opportunities for growth
• Support Consumer Marketing operations, budget allocation and spend
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to bring data and insights to shape the execution of initiatives across the business and ensure that all processes run efficiently and optimally
• Elaborate learning agenda for key strategic initiatives, interpret results, prepare presentations and communicate findings to local leadership and the broader organization
• Support or, at times, step in to lead key strategic or operational initiatives critical to the local market\'s growth
• Be a senior leader disseminating the Spotify culture, crafting an environment to encourage and empower cross functional teams locally

Who You Are

• Degree in a related field (analytics / data science / economics) or equivalent practical experience
• You have a minimum of 10 years experience in management consulting, research firm or in an equivalent business operations or analyst role at a fast-growing technology company in Egypt
• Strong analytical skills and comfort analyzing large datasets, with advanced knowledge of tools such as Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, Tableau and SQL programming
• Deep understanding of the Egyptian market informed by extensive experience working directly in the market. MENA wide experience is a plus
• You are an organised, strategic problem solver with an understanding of planning and budgeting, experienced in data analysis, data modelling, Keynote/Powerpoint, Excel
• You have shown results demonstrating thought leadership and business judgment, developing and interpreting deep data analysis and presenting rigorous analysis and insights with simplicity, clarity, and confidence
• Experience structuring and leading sophisticated projects end-to-end, with excellent project management, problem-solving and written/verbal communication skills
• Ability to quickly distill large amounts of information into clear insights and recommendations for leaders across the business
• Thrive working in a fast-paced, constantly-evolving environment
• Proficient in Arabic and English
• Genuine, confident, flexible and fun demeanor
• Experience working with an international team is a plus
