Preferred Qualifications

Analyzes Clinical, Operational, and financial data and helps internal and external stakeholders by developing visual insights to solve business problems using data and pursue data related projects such as dashboard development, statistical analysis, and model development. As a key member of the Data Analytics team, will navigate through the complex business challenges to design solutions using different Data Analytics tools like SAP BO, SAS, Tableau etc. and convert them into design and develop assets to achieve business objectives and support internal initiatives. Will work closely with all client stakeholders to understand the requirements and participate in data validation sessions. Drives the efficient operations within a line of business by analyzing business processes and data to provide business insight.
Basic Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years total combined higher education and related work experience including:
    • At least 1 year of business analytics work experience
    • Hands-on experience in developing dashboards and visual insights in SAS/Tableau/Power BI etc. A minimum of two completed projects in visual analytics
    • At least 4 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job including:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Analytics; or related field; or equivalent relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with Cerner Millennium
  • At least 1 year of experience working with SAS platform
  • At least 1 year of experience experience working with SAP Business Objects
  • Experience working in sql, data transformation and preparation

Expectations:
  • Willing to participate in on-call rotation as needed
  • Willing to work 100% from the client site
  • Willing to travel up to 25% as needed
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization\'s financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.

Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Attention to detail critical. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. Relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and possible clients desired. 2 plus years relevant work experience.
