HIA Healthcare is seeking an energetic, self-motivated, career-driven individual to supervise and grow the HIA's Autism center in Abu Dhabi. HIA Healthcare is a leader in providing cutting edge behavioral health services, and the Business Development Manager and Community Relations will represent HIA Healthcare's services and vision while working closely with the organization's executive team to execute its ongoing growth strategy. PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Develops and manages HIA Healthcare development plan for UAE and GCC.
  • Works with clinical leadership and executive team to achieve organization's identified growth and expansion goals
  • Works closely with development team to identify strategies for developing new revenue streams
  • Leads all aspects of the upcoming marketing campaign
  • Develops and manages community relations and communications strategy to support organization's growth and development plan
  • Works closely with current and prospective clients/partners including contract monitors and liaisons
  • Works with program staff and contractors to execute communications and public relations/outreach strategies aimed at increasing engagement, revenue, public awareness and support
  • Represents HIA Healthcare in city and region based collaborative groups and systems of care meetings as needed and as a stand in for the CEO
Human Resource Duties:
  • To submit and ensure the processing of all types of applications and paperwork to the local government bodies, including but not limited to, visit visa, employment or residence visa, car registration, trade license, labor permits and contracts, export license, economic license, foreign licenses, telecommunications and water / electrical licenses are in line with governmental expectations and timeframes. Ensure all documentation required is accurate and complete
  • To proactively manage the timely renewal of employment visas and labor permits
  • Process all online procedures for governmental websites
  • Manage the visa checklist as and when the rules on visa/labor change and provide guidance to the People team and colleagues accordingly
  • To maintain a database of all passports and residence visas by scanning all documents and directly updating the government database and HRIS when details change and ensure all colleagues receive at least 3 months ' notice of passport and visa expiry
  • Assist employees in renewing visas for immediate dependents
  • To assist all sponsored staff ( and dependents where applicable ) with the medical appointment process in order for the visa process to run smoothly
  • To renew all company related licenses prior to the expiry date
  • Send out notifications on documentation required to renew trade licenses and complete surveys etc required by the government bodies at the time of license renewals
  • Submit detailed reports to the HR Manager and Finance Department related to visa expenses
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's Degree in healthcare or business-related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Five (5) years of experience at the leadership level in health care settings, preferably Behavioral Health/Mental Health. Thorough understanding and operational knowledge of business operations management within a healthcare setting is essential.
  • Communication skills, verbal & written & interpersonal skills necessary to develop & maintain a wide variety of cooperative working relationships and to convey information clearly & consistently.
  • Proficiency with database management and spreadsheet analysis required.
  • Requires strong interpersonal communication, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Requires the ability to work independently as well as with teams.
  • Demonstrates a high confidence level to interact with health care and business professionals at all levels
