Business Development & Marketing Manager - UAE (Full-time, Permanent) Tutopiya is a leading Edtech platform based in Singapore. Tutopiya provides its tutors and students with an enriching learning experience on our evolving and unique platform. We are now on the lookout for a dynamic Business Development & Marketing Specialist based in Dubai, UAE to join our team full-time. As the Business Development & Marketing Specialist - UAE, you will take the front face of our business & excel at creating and closing new opportunities in UAE. By using a consultative approach to selling, you will use your expertise to generate UAE leads, identify and qualify the leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers in UAE. Responsibilities:
Community & Brand Building Locally in UAE
- Lead Generation for UAE - Parents, Students & International Schools
Ideate and execute Marketing Campaigns in UAE for brand awareness and lead generation
Sharing local knowledge, know-how and expertise to improve our sales and marketing outreach with better targeting of suitable audiences
Partnering with local organizations
Contacting & visiting international schools in person to do demos of our products and services
Identifying UAE students and parents\' needs and how we can better support them
Making outbound calls to prospects
Responding to incoming leads with the aim to convert them into a positive sale
Handling inbound calls, chat inquiries, and emails in a professional manner
Working with various internal teams to ensure prompt and accurate order processing and delivery
Escalating customer feedback as required to the relevant teams
Required skills and experiences
- 3 - 4 years of experience in similar roles
Good understanding of international school curricula such as IGCSE Cambridge, IGCSE Pearson Edexcel, IB, etc.
Prior experience in Sales &/ Marketing or a related role, ideally from the Edtech/Education/Tech industries.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to converse in Arabic - spoken and written
Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems with a high computer literacy and adaptability level.
Ability to build and sustain strong professional relationships.
Self-motivated and driven to work under pressure and meet given deadlines.
A team player with a positive attitude and good interpersonal skills
Should have a laptop & stable internet connection to work from home.
Preferred skills and experiences
Experience working in startup environment is an advantage
