Our client is a locally owned distributor of solar products \xe2\x80\x93 inverters, solar panels and solar batteries. We are recruiting a UAE, GCC and Africa experienced business development manager to join their Dubai team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end B2B sales by increasing the distributor network to achieve revenue growth.
With a \xe2\x80\x9chunter\xe2\x80\x9d mindset and approach, the successful candidate will proactively identify profitable business opportunities, close deals and drive incremental market share growth and profit.
Role Summary
Manage the entire sales process - lead generation, client prospecting, contract and price negotiation and winning business.
Prepare commercially strong presentations for potential customers and partnerships.
Develop the customer value proposition for the UAE and Africa markets.
Conduct market research and analysis to understand market trends and competition.
Essential Skills & Experience Required
5+ years B2B sales, business development and client acquisition experience in renewables, solar photovoltaic (PV) and solar products in the UAE and / or Africa.
Strong career progression \xe2\x80\x93 consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets to earn sales commission.
Ability to build a sales pipeline by identifying valuable potential customers and being able to influence their decision-making.
Commercially and financially astute with strong negotiating skills.
UAE driving license is mandatory.
Education
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Candidate Profile
Currently living in the United Arab Emirates.
Fluency in English \xe2\x80\x93 must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
