Our client is a locally owned distributor of solar products \xe2\x80\x93 inverters, solar panels and solar batteries. We are recruiting a UAE, GCC and Africa experienced business development manager to join their Dubai team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end B2B sales by increasing the distributor network to achieve revenue growth.
With a \xe2\x80\x9chunter\xe2\x80\x9d mindset and approach, the successful candidate will proactively identify profitable business opportunities, close deals and drive incremental market share growth and profit.
Role Summary

Role Summary
- Manage the entire sales process - lead generation, client prospecting, contract and price negotiation and winning business.
- Prepare commercially strong presentations for potential customers and partnerships.
- Develop the customer value proposition for the UAE and Africa markets.
- Conduct market research and analysis to understand market trends and competition.
- 5+ years B2B sales, business development and client acquisition experience in renewables, solar photovoltaic (PV) and solar products in the UAE and / or Africa.
- Strong career progression \xe2\x80\x93 consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets to earn sales commission.
- Ability to build a sales pipeline by identifying valuable potential customers and being able to influence their decision-making.
- Commercially and financially astute with strong negotiating skills.
- UAE driving license is mandatory.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Currently living in the United Arab Emirates.
- Fluency in English \xe2\x80\x93 must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
