to lead strategic initiatives, identify new business opportunities, and foster strong client relationships in the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in EPC or Oil & Gas construction, with a deep understanding of the Abu Dhabi and broader UAE market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Analysis & Strategy:
Conduct detailed market research to identify potential clients, partners, and projects in the EPC projects across oil & gas, energy, utilities, and industrial sectors.
Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with the company's long-term goals.
Client Relationship Management:
Build, maintain, and expand strong relationships with key stakeholders, including ADNOC Group, EPC companies, consultants, and government entities.
Act as the primary point of contact for key clients and partners.
Tendering & Proposals:
Identify tender opportunities, lead the pre-qualification and bid submission process in coordination with the proposals and estimation teams.
Oversee preparation of commercial and technical proposals in alignment with client requirements.
Networking & Representation:
Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, conferences, and forums to enhance visibility and branding.
Leverage existing network to open doors for new business opportunities.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
Work closely with engineering, operations, legal, and finance teams to align business development efforts with operational capacity and project feasibility.
Provide market intelligence and insights to support project planning and strategic decision-making.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Set business development targets and KPIs; track and report on performance metrics.
Present regular updates to senior management on pipeline, prospects, wins/losses, and competitor activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree is a plus).
Minimum of
10 years of experience
in business development roles within
EPC or Oil & Gas Construction
companies.
Proven track record of winning large-scale Oil & Gas projects in the UAE, preferably with
ADNOC or other major operators
.
Strong network and understanding of the Abu Dhabi market and regulatory environment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under pressure to meet targets.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of EPC, and turnkey project life cycles.
Familiarity with ADNOC procurement systems and prequalification processes.
Strong commercial and contractual acumen.
Arabic language skills (optional but preferred).
