Our Business Development manager MEA will lead the development of the Professional Care segment across the MEA region. Managing and supporting existing and new business partners as well as developing new business opportunities within the Professional Care segment (Hospital: NICU & Maternity, and Surgical & Wound Care). The role is to be located in Saudi Arabia or UAE. We are looking for a Hands on person and strong team player with ability to work independently with emphasis on result orientation and inherent sense of urgency (Go Getter).
Your responsibilities
Develop, implement and execute on strategic plans and sales strategies across the MEA region working in close collaboration with local distributor networks (Business Partners)
Identify and develop new market opportunities for existing and newly launching Medela healthcare product portfolios
Achieve sales and profitability targets in assigned geographical areas
Secure effective and efficient distribution network by evaluating and developing existing and new business partners
Analyse market potential, market opportunities/threats and strengths/weaknesses and formulate appropriate strategy
Your Profile
>7 years of Sales experience in geographical area in medical equipment environment including tender management (e.g. NUPCO), hospital and MoH B2B engagements
Proven track record in positively and successfully managing distributor relationships, channels and KOL-networks
Working knowledge across variety of cross-functional areas including: quality and regulatory affairs, engineering, marketing and operations
Broad experience in business and market development and strong business acumen
Wide market understanding of geographical area
Excellent product launch / management experience
Fluent in Arabic and English, additional language skills are an advantage
