Role Purpose

This role is responsible for the achievement of revenue, market shared and profits for Health Care (Hansaplast) across MENA with the below main objectives:
  • To steer business and ensure the delivery of the agreed sales, profit, pricing and distribution.
  • To steer the brand portfolio, manage launches, develop marketing plans that align with the business plan, control marketing budgets, liaise with concerned Sales (internal and distributor)/ Supply Chain/ Regulatory/ Shopper & Customer Marketing/ Digital teams to land strong customer marketing plans and ensure ongoing product supply for full assortment while working closely with the Marketing Manager to meet and exceed brand targets.
Main Accountabilities

Strategic Responsibilities
  • Development and execution of Strategic Road Map of Health Care in MENA Region.
  • Leading annual internal key budgeting activities.
  • Route To Market steering in the region.
  • Develop White spots - Pharmacy channel in GCC with focus on Saudi.
  • Proactively ensuring compliance to regulatory requirements.
Brand Management
  • Lead the annual Marketing Plan within the long-term Business Plan, liaise with Global / Regional offices to identify appropriate product innovations, local supply chain to ensure that internal processes are properly managed and Commercial Units (CUs) are fully briefed and resourced to deliver appropriate Customer Marketing Plan.
  • Manage the agencies to ensure the best-in-class adaptation/creation of marketing and communication campaigns suited to the different local markets. Apply and further build digital capabilities to leverage consumer journeys and deliver brand KPIs.
  • Coordinate MENA brand activities across functions (Digital, Medical, Shopper & Customer Marketing, and Ecommerce) in order to achieve the agreed Marketing Drive Plan.
Sales Management
  • Drive engagement with Beiersdorf Sales & S&CM team as well as distributors (offline & online) to achieve best in class execution.
  • Bringing transparency and efficiency in the Distributor\'s Value Chain for Health Care.
  • Drive engagement with the Key Retailers with the help of Sales Team to increase Share of Mind for Hansaplast.
  • Collaborate with eCommerce team and drive eCommerce business as per target.
  • Ensuring the best in class in store execution as per guideline.
  • Ensuring successful implementation of TRAX.
  • Develop Pharmacy channel and establish Hansplast\'s superiority in the relevant category.
Regulatory Management
  • Proactively ensuring compliance to all regulatory requirements.
  • Proactively update key stakeholders on any deviations/ new requirements and resolve the issue.
Administrative Responsibilities
  • Track IMS, Market Share and Stock levels in accordance to target.
  • Steering forecasting and Distributor Order with help of sales and supply chain team to provide best in class forecast accuracy and service level.
  • Track competitor, trade activities, pricing with the help of S&CM and sales team and take appropriate action to create maintain Hansplast\'s lead.
Your Profile

Education & Qualification
  • BA in Business Administration and/or Marketing or similar from an accredited university
Skills
  • Language: Excellent verbal and written communication in English. Proficiency in Arabic good to have.
  • PC/IT: High proficiency in MS Office applications with emphasis on advanced Excel. Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
Experience
  • A minimum of 5 years sales experience in relevant field.
  • Self-starter and entrepreneurial.
