Key Responsibilities
1.With expertise in handling seamlessly over-dimensional and out -of- gauge (ODC/ OOG) project cargo using specialized equipment.
2.Well versed with flat rack and open top containers operations
3.To be able to handle vessel chartering and break-bulk cargo including steel, machinery and dry bulk cargo
4.Containers, Electric Vehicles, Roll on roll off (RoRo) machinery / trucks / cranes and vehicles, etc
5.Understanding of ports and terminals and the inter-relationship/value proposition they can build for the smooth shipping operation
6.Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve the company's sales goals and objectives.
7.Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals.
8.Build and maintain strong relationships with new agencies/ clients and stakeholders, while enriching relationship with the existing ones
9.Collaborate with other departments, including sales, operations at the HO to ensure a seamless customer experience.
10.Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
11.Participate in industry events and conferences to promote the company and build relationships with potential clients.
12.Prepare and present business development reports to the top management on a regular basis.
Requirements:
1.Master Mariner / bachelor's degree
2.Proven track record of developing and implementing successful business development strategies and achieving sales targets in shipping field
3.Excellent communication with good command of English, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
4.Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
5.Strong customer focus and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
6.Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
7.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
8.15 years in Sea/FF/Logistics/project Cargo with a Tier 1 Freight Forwarding companies
