Job Description

Job Overview: Dynamic and results-driven Sales and Business Development Manager. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and managing the sales pipeline and team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sales strategies, market trends, and customer relationship management, with a focus on achieving sales targets and expanding the company's market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and partnerships.
  • Lead the sales team to meet and exceed sales goals and performance metrics.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt sales tactics effectively.
2. Business Development:
  • Identify new business opportunities and markets for expansion, both locally and internationally.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Engage in prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business deals.
  • Conduct market research and customer analysis to identify new trends and areas of opportunity.
3. Client Relationship Management:
  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions that align with their business goals.
  • Act as the main point of contact for high-value clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues.
4. Team Leadership:
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales and business development team to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Monitor individual and team performance, conducting regular reviews and providing constructive feedback.
5. Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to regional management.
  • Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement action plans to optimize results.
  • Track and report on the progress of business development initiatives and new projects.
6. Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align sales and marketing strategies and ensure consistent messaging.
  • Collaborate with engineering and certification teams to offer feedback from clients and prospects to improve service offerings.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to increase brand visibility and drive business growth.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, or similar role (5+ years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of sales strategies, CRM software, and market research techniques.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to think strategically and identify new business opportunities.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
