Summary
BDM-3PL is responsible for generating new business and maintaining existing relationships with 3PL customers in the Jumbo Logistics Business.
Responsibilities
xc2xb7 Responsible for securing new customers, and maintaining and developing existing accounts
xc2xb7 Meet and exceed target set in terms of contributing and generating revenue for the department
xc2xb7 Conduct and report minimum number of sales leads set by the management and transform a minimum of those into revenue-generating business
xc2xb7 Maintain records of customer details and sales visits in the Orient
xc2xb7 Identify potential customers and register opportunities in Orient; relentlessly pursue realization of such opportunities leading to revenue for the company
xc2xb7 Regularly visit existing accounts validating our service levels and develop new revenue streams
xc2xb7 Negotiate with the accounts as per price guidelines given, looking to maximise profits.
xc2xb7 Follow up on customer communications in a timely and professional manner
xc2xb7 Support customer service and work closely with operations and documentation on the execution of customer service contracts.
xc2xb7 Promote the services and products of all entities, and coordinate sales efforts with other department sales
xc2xb7 Assimilate market information and take part in the overall business development through weekly or monthly sales meetings
xc2xb7 Follow up with clients for outstanding support by the Finance Controller.
