Summary Under the supervision of the business development management, the business development and licensing officer will provide support to the day-to-day activities and action plans in relation to business development and licensing projects in order to establish long term strategic partnerships in line with the company\xe2\x80\x99s strategic plan. Key Responsibilities \xc2\xa7 Participate in business development activities including identifying and developing new partnership opportunities, negotiations, structuring of transactions and managing potential risks \xc2\xa7 Support in conducting due diligence, building network of contacts and evaluating potential partnerships \xc2\xa7 Assist in establishing product growth plans, managing life cycle and launching activities \xc2\xa7 Support in leveraging targeted strategies and innovative, cost-effective GTM models to efficiently commercialize new products / brands \xc2\xa7 Cooperate with cross functional teams from other departments on managing and executing assigned projects efficiently, effectively and in a timely manner. This includes generating innovative solutions to implement action plans leading to realizing the business goals \xc2\xa7 Conduct market and competitive analysis for different business segments including forecasting market \xc2\xa7 Keep up-to-date with the industry and competition trends and news, in-out licensing of products/technologies, potential partnerships, government/private grants and contacts, new drug development etc., in order to report and communicate to the management \xc2\xa7 Maintain knowledgeable understanding of changing regulatory guidelines and mandates affecting the industry \xc2\xa7 Create and deliver compelling, customer/partner specific presentations \xc2\xa7 Attend industry related events including trade fair and conferences as assigned by the management \xc2\xa7 Manage communication activities such as announcements, news, etc\xe2\x80\xa6 \xc2\xa7 Comply with all company policies, procedures and regulations. Qualifications & Skills \xc2\xa7 University degree \xc2\xa7 5 years of relevant experience in the pharma business development and licensing preferably in generic pharmaceuticals \xc2\xa7 A track record of accomplishment in managing multiple projects simultaneously \xc2\xa7 Strong knowledge of industry trends, regulatory standards, certifications, labeling etc.. \xc2\xa7 Ability to build and maintain strong long term customer relationships \xc2\xa7 Excellent negotiation and presentation skills \xc2\xa7 Effective communication skills with different levels of management and in multicultural environments \xc2\xa7 Excellent problem-solving, planning and prioritization abilities \xc2\xa7 Computer proficiency \xc2\xa7 Fluent in English (verbal/written) communication \xc2\xa7 Ability to work efficiently and effectively; independently and as a team member \xc2\xa7 Availability to travel regionally and internationally when required.
