Responsibilities of a Business Development Executive - Elevator Solutions

Sales & Lead Generation
Identify and pursue new business opportunities for elevator installations, modernization, and maintenance contracts.
Generate leads through site visits, referrals, cold calls, and networking with contractors, developers, and facility managers.
Promote elevator solutions tailored to residential, commercial, industrial, and public sector projects.
2.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders such as builders, architects, consultants, and property managers.
Understand client requirements and propose suitable elevator products and services.
Provide ongoing support before, during, and after project execution to ensure client satisfaction.
3.
Proposal & Contract Management
Prepare and present commercial offers, technical proposals, and quotations.
Negotiate terms, close deals, and coordinate contract signing in line with company policies and margins.
Collaborate with legal or contracts departments to ensure all agreements are compliant and clear.
4.
Market Analysis & Strategy
Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to refine sales strategies.
Develop strategic plans to penetrate new markets and expand company reach.
5.
Coordination with Technical Teams
Work closely with engineering, installation, and service departments to ensure seamless project delivery.
Participate in technical discussions, site assessments, and design meetings when required.
6.
Project Follow-up
Track the progress of awarded elevator projects to ensure timelines and quality standards are met.
Address any client concerns and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
7.
Reporting & CRM
Maintain accurate sales records and update client data using CRM tools.
Provide regular reports on sales activity, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to management.
8.
Product & Industry Knowledge
Stay updated on the latest elevator technologies, safety standards, and industry innovations.
