Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Executive or Manager with a strong background in the oil & gas sector to lead and grow our vocational industrial training center. This role requires deep industry knowledge, strong networking skills, and the ability to identify business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and align our training offerings with the evolving needs of the oil & gas industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the oil & gas industry, including upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with oil & gas companies, EPC contractors, regulatory authorities, and HR training departments.
Conduct market research to understand training trends, gaps, and compliance requirements in the oil & gas industry.
Promote and align vocational and technical training programs with national and international industry standards (e.g., OPITO, API, ISO).
Create and execute sales and marketing strategies targeting corporate clients and training procurement teams.
Represent the center in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to generate leads and enhance brand presence.
Prepare and present technical proposals and commercial offers in response to RFPs and client requirements.
Collaborate with the academic/training teams to develop or tailor customized industrial training solutions.
Monitor client satisfaction and maintain long-term partnerships through continuous engagement and feedback.
Prepare reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for senior management.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Oil & Gas Management, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in business development or B2B sales within the oil & gas industry.
Strong understanding of oil & gas operations, training needs, and industry certifications (e.g., HSE, Rig Training, Scaffolding, NDT).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently, meet targets, and manage multiple priorities.
Familiarity with government and private sector procurement processes in the oil & gas field is a plus.
. Valid Qatari driving license will be a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working with or for a technical/vocational training provider.
Industry certifications or training (e.g., NEBOSH, OPITO, IWCF) are a strong advantage.
Arabic language skills (if in GCC region) are a plus.
