The Business Development Executive will be responsible for securing rebookings, attracting new sponsors and exhibitors, and ensuring seamless coordination with internal teams to drive revenue and client satisfaction.
Essential Functions
Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Secure rebookings and identify new exhibitors and sponsors across target markets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders, ensuring high retention and satisfaction.
Create customized proposals based on client needs and event objectives.
Negotiate stand and sponsorship packages, close deals, and manage the sales cycle from prospecting to contract signing.
Collaborate closely with the project and operations team to ensure flawless execution of client deliverables.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate activity reports in the CRM system.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in event sales or B2B sales experience will also be considered.
Experience dealing with government entities is a plus.
Proficient in using CRM systems for tracking and reporting.
Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
