Liminal is offering an exciting opportunity to join the high performing sales team as a Business Development Director. This new role has been opened to focus on growing the new customer base in the Middle East. This is an individual contributor role. The role is for a proven business development professional, with a track record of selling B2B SaaS and/or technology solutions in a new market. The role will be focused on new business in the respective region only. This person should be goal oriented and comfortable working within a high pressure and fast paced startup environment. They should possess excellent communication skills (telephone, face-to-face), for both internal networking and client facing activity. Above all, this person should be driven for individual and collective success. Additionally, this role will also be required to be the director of the Abu Dhabi entity and will be required to interact with the regulator on a case to case basis. This candidate will also be the authorized signatory of the Dubai,VARA entity and as such will be required to represent the company and sign documents for operational activities..
Responsibilities:
Proactive market development through prospecting by LinkedIn, cold calling, cold emails, and other means available Continuous new client acquisitions to achieve and exceed established sales performance targets
and conduct appropriate consultative selling processes including product demonstrations,
presentations, and commercial negotiations. Represent Liminal at industry events and webinars to effectively communicate our value proposition Effectively build, manage, and close sales pipeline whilst ensuring that all progress is recorded in the CRM Through prospect interactions, identify market expansion opportunities, and devise potential plans and strategies to tackle the opportunities
Requirements:
Experience in working in a B2B environment. More than 8 years of experience in Business Development role. Proven track record of working successfully in a challenging and commercially driven sales environment. Experience and knowledge in the crypto industry is preferred but not a must. English + Arabic + French is an added advantage for language. Only the candidates with residency status in Dubai/Abu Dhabi will be considered.
