Business Development Director

Job Description
Petroplan are currently recruiting for a Business Development Director for our client who are an Oil & Gas service provider in Dubai, UAE.
You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and/or new customers mostly in the the offshore drilling industry.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience working with and for drilling contractors
- Minimum of 15 years oil and gas service industry or drilling contractor experience
- Minimum of 5 years' prior industry-related business development experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong technical knowledge of project management, maintenance and engineering jobs and activities related to mobile offshore drilling units (i.e. jack-ups, drill ships, semi-submersibles)
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
- Experience organizing and leading negotiations
- Proposal and contract preparation experience
