Business Development Director Sensing and Safety Technologies (SST) has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development professional with industry leaders to build relationships and facilitate expanded business opportunities. Candidate will be responsible for work in partnership with the other Business Units at Honeywell to create and develop new opportunities. Candidate will also provide guidance and direction in developing robust opportunity pipeline, creation of new partnerships where applicable, and customer relationships for current markets and expanding to adjacent markets. Candidate will be responsible for high level decision-making based on a realistic assessment of all potential changes and their impact. Through new ideas and initiatives, your aim is to improve and expand the overall Industrial Manufacturing & Transportation business prospects. Candidate will have a passion for Industrial Manufacturing & Transportation and life science markets and products, and an ability to communicate with key stake holders (technical, regulatory and other professionals).

  • Lead and manage the Business Development, including strategic partnership with key stakes holders (Customers, providers, KOL, regulators and payers/insurance firms)
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain executive level relationships at key stakeholders.

  • Provide thought leadership & drive external engagement and awareness in the Industrial Manufacturing & Transportation ecosystems.

Key skills and qualifications
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in engineering or related field.
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business, Finance or Marketing
  • Minimum 10 years of direct experience in the areas of strategy, campaign planning and business development
  • Strong network and background in Industrial Manufacturing & Transportation & life science
  • Strong network in regulatory, research, KOL and other stakeholder.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic analysis experience
  • Financial and international operating experience
  • Technical understanding of customer requirements
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Experience with project planning, scoping, and execution in a phase-gate and/or agile environment
  • Deliver on complex problems without guidance.
  • Deliver presentations with ease, engage audiences.
  • High level of integrity and demonstrated portrayal of Honeywell Behaviors.
