Role Overview
The Business Development Consultant position is a key role operating in the UAE market; with responsibility for driving considerable new business growth. The role will require significant face to face business engagement with top producing IPMI brokers and/or direct clients facilitating strong and consistent sales growth. The selected candidate will be the day-to-day face of Bupa Global and have sound commercial acumen, be an effective communicator, possess advanced presentation skills, be a credible business enabler and have a strong track record of auditable business growth in the healthcare market. The role is pivotal in developing new commercial opportunity, gathering robust data to assist in future planning cycles; as well have competitor and market insights.
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:
Proactively develop strong relationships with intermediaries and direct clients, taking full ownership & accountability for the generation of profitable business
Conduct profit reviews to identify areas for improvement and lead conversations with brokers to agree actions to optimise profitability
Effectively promote and deploy Bupa\xe2\x80\x99s strategy, product range, propositions and key differentiators to leverage commercial opportunities
Foster a continuous improvement mindset and work with your colleagues to identify improvements and transform great ideas into tangible implementation steps to drive the business forward
Always maintain the highest quality and service standards in line with criteria set by the management team, FCA and compliance
Always comply and abide by the requirements of the Data Protection Act and those of the FOS & FCA
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll bring:
Sales experience with proven sales track record in the UAE Health Insurance and International PMI arena
Knowledgeable in the UAE regulatory landscape
Experience in working with CRM systems
Highly motivated with excellent organisational skills and strategic mindset
Excellent deal structuring and negotiation ability
Self-motivated with ability to work independently or as a team to achieve goals and objectives
Ability to travel in the region as required
ACII qualification or equivalent preferred
Multi-lingual speaker preferred
