The Role
The role of the Business Development and Marketing Executive (BDME) is to support the Business Development Manager (BDM) in the delivery of the Middle East Business Plan and to help in the identification and creation of opportunities to win new business.

Requirements
Qualifications and Experience \xe2\x80\xa2 1-2 minimum years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in legal marketing and/or an international law firm or other professional services environment is desirable \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience working with senior stakeholders and developing strong relationships \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent oral and written communication skills \xe2\x80\x93 the role involves liaison with internal and external stakeholders at a senior level and internationally \xe2\x80\xa2 Computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint \xe2\x80\xa2 Some knowledge of marketing databases (preferably InterAction/Vuture) would be advantageous Person Specification \xe2\x80\xa2 Flair for the \xe2\x80\x98sales\xe2\x80\x99 side of professional services marketing \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to influence at all levels \xe2\x80\xa2 A proven track record of results \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience of the professional services environment \xe2\x80\xa2 Good academic record \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to deal effectively with conflicting requirements \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to adapt and respond at short notice Technical Skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint \xe2\x80\xa2 Some knowledge of marketing databases (preferably InterAction) Competencies \xe2\x80\xa2 Client centric \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborative working \xe2\x80\xa2 Commercial thinking \xe2\x80\xa2 Ethical practice
