Job Purpose
To identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in
air and sea freight forwarding
, maintain and grow existing accounts, and achieve revenue and profit targets through proactive sales activities and strong client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Sales
Identify and target potential customers for
air freight
and
sea freight
services.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve assigned revenue targets.
Generate leads through networking, cold calling, client visits, and industry events.
Prepare and present tailored proposals and quotations to prospective clients.
2. Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, resolving issues promptly.
Conduct regular business reviews with customers to identify growth opportunities.
3. Market Research & Strategy
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies in the freight forwarding industry.
Provide feedback to management to develop competitive service offerings.
Identify niche markets and potential service diversification opportunities.
4. Coordination & Operations Support
Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless shipment execution.
Coordinate with carriers, agents, and overseas offices for rate negotiations and booking arrangements.
Ensure all required documentation and compliance standards are met.
5. Reporting & Documentation
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and revenue forecasts in CRM systems.
Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports for management review.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
Minimum
3
of sales/business development experience in freight forwarding.
Established client network in air and/or sea freight is highly preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
Revenue growth from new and existing accounts.
Customer retention and satisfaction scores.
Achievement of sales targets (monthly/quarterly/yearly).
Number of qualified leads generated and converted.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
