Position Overview
ADNOC Distribution is seeking a Business Continuity Manager in Abu Dhabi, UAE to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Business Continuity Management (BCM) Program. This role ensures compliance with UAE regulations, NCEMA 7000, ISO 22301, and global best practices, safeguarding the company's ability to respond effectively to disruptions across local and international operations.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, maintain, and expand a BCM governance framework aligned with NCEMA, ISO 22301, and industry standards
  • Oversee readiness and preparedness strategies for responding to natural disasters, cyber incidents, pandemics, and geopolitical disruptions
  • Ensure BCM standards are applied across ADNOC Distribution's international operations
  • Work with business unit coordinators to integrate continuity elements into operational plans
  • Facilitate regular training, workshops, and simulation exercises across local and international teams
  • Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Business Continuity Risk Assessments
  • Develop and maintain BCM strategies, policies, and frameworks, including disaster recovery plans
  • Lead audits, inspections, and compliance reviews of BCM plans, recommending corrective actions
  • Conduct unplanned studies for senior management on strategic continuity issues
  • Perform periodic reviews, testing, and evaluations of BCM plans for effectiveness and compliance
  • Advise management on good practices for continuity and resilience planning
  • Provide training programs for senior leadership and operational management on BCM procedures
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 8 years of experience, including 3-5 years in BCM within Oil & Gas or related industries
  • Strong knowledge of international BCM standards and regulatory requirements
  • Hands-on experience implementing and executing BCM and disaster recovery plans
  • Proven track record in leading cross-functional BCM initiatives in industrial environments
  • Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills; fluency in English and Arabic required
  • Certifications preferred: PMP, MBCI, ISO 22301 Lead Auditor
