Day to Day Operations
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and document business processes, procedures, and user workflows for IFS implementation
  • Provide guidelines to IFS team to configure and customize IFS modules to align with the company\'s production requirements
  • Conduct system testing, identify and resolve any issues or bugs, and ensure smooth integration of IFS with existing systems
  • Provide training and support to end-users on IFS functionality and best practices for production management
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) for production, and develop reports and dashboards to monitor performance
  • Participate in project meetings, provide regular status updates, and contribute to the overall success of the IFS implementation project.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to production management in shipbuilding and repair operations.
  • Participate in Internal & External meetings and discussions and ensures action points against the assigned modules are closed in timely manner
  • Ensure that the issues related to the projects/assignments are resolved in a timely manner
  • Track the benefits and contributions by the specific application and process changes to the entire organization.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Advanced knowledge in various business domains.
  • CBAP Certification is an added advantage
  • IFS Certification Required.
  • 10+ years relevant experience in a large organization.
  • Strong knowledge of shipbuilding and repair processes, including production planning, material management, work order management, and quality control.
  • Experience in handling the Manufacturing, Ship Repair, Oil, Gas & Energy Sector, Project based industries.
  • Experience in Structural & Pipe Fabrication, EPC, Manufacturing, QC Inspections, Material Planning, Construction Project Planning, Progress Monitoring Reporting
  • Experience in a project delivery role; ERP implementation, upgrade, and support experience.
  • Strong ERP background and experience in handling Engineer-to-Order (ETO), Product Work Breakdown Structure (PWBS), material management, work order management, and quality control.
  • Evaluate existing production and manufacturing processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to optimize workflows, reduce costs, and increase productivity
  • Configure and customize the ERP system to align with specific shipbuilding and repair requirements, including defining production schedules, work breakdown structures, bill of materials, and routing information.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably IFS or any other ERP system catering to Marine industry, including configuration, customization, and implementation
  • Proficient in gathering and documenting business requirements, conducting gap analysis, and proposing process improvements
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into system requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results within defined timelines
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced motivational, negotiation and analytical skills
  • Exposure in Agile software development.
  • Excellent MS word, excel and power point skills.
