Job Summary
Zurich Workplace Solutions is a start-up entity implementing End of Service Benefits in the region. As the organization moves from 'start-up' mode into 'scale-up', the team needs to be multi-skilled to be able to take on a number of varied tasks and responsibilities. We are looking for a multi-skilled techno-functional individual who can execute a multitude of tasks based on evolving business plans. The activities within the purview of this role are business analysis, product ownership support, technical analysis/design, project management / PMO, testing and in some cases hands-on development. The candidate needs to have high level of understanding of latest technologies and programming concepts.
This individual will be expected to support the Program and Product management in liaising with our main technology providers and executing technology and process changes in-line with our proposition roadmap. She/He will lead the elicitation of requirement, design and visualizing of them into solution requirements to ensure their implementation throughout the project life cycle. This role will involve project management initiatives and product ownership in order to deliver the required deliverables as part of a highly complex, often global project or program. She/he is expected to apply the different delivery approaches (Waterfall, SCRUM, Zurich Lean) and perform, independently, business analysis processes in accordance with Zurich Project Management Framework (ZPMF) and the Zurich Risk Policy.
Job Accountabilities
As a Business Analyst your role will involve:
Drive consolidation of the product content and activities for program / strategic projects
Ability to adapt to and apply different delivery methodologies including SCRUM, Waterfall and ZurichLean
Verifies content for large / high risk projects / programs in line with strategy. Conducting feasibility studies to identify best solution and process optimisation in line with the overall program strategy
Support program manager in building Business Case, risk assessment, product scope development and project scope itself, as well as development of specific project plans
Oversees end to end product scope in line with the program / project / business unit
Produce requirement specification and outline solution design documents throughout the project lifecycle, incorporating change requests and finalization of requirements documentation
Conduct technical feasibility analysis and in conjunction with IT Business Partners ensure implementation of appropriate solution. Where required / appropriate lead technical architecture and design decision in conjunction with IT Business Partner
Facilitation of strategy sessions to ensure successful outcome in addition to ensuring outcomes are in line with overall group strategy
Drafting and maintaining Product vision, mission, strategic plans, goals and measures in relation to project / program / business unit
Documents the business architecture
Manage the KPI measurement of implemented solution and conducts route cause analysis if benefits not achieved
Manage the analysis of requirement risk, traceability matrix and prioritizes requirements
Perform quality review checks on solution including benchmark analysis if required
Communicate at high level through different mediums at all levels, including key suppliers in order to facilitate Product development
Establish and agree key performance and financial budgets for program / strategic projects in order to optimize business performance in line with set objectives.
Review all financial aspects of program / strategic projects including budgeting, forecasting and reporting actual expenditures to ensure projects deliver in line with objectives.
Develop detailed program / strategic project plans including estimates of resources required and evaluation criteria to support the development of a sound business case for change programs and to enable implementation to time, cost and quality standards.
Review and assess the impact of change initiatives / programs/ strategic projects on the risk profile of the business and identify any challenges with respect to regulatory compliance to ensure that the business is not exposed to undue risk.
Review complex analysis from multiple sources in relation to programs / projects to make authoritative technical/professional recommendations in order to improve business performance in the medium and longer term.
Develop project methodologies and review processes in order to continuously improve business analysis.
Design and review rapidly growing Product end to end journey
Manage relationships with key internal stakeholders / project sponsors in order to identify opportunities for service improvement from business analysis to ensure commercial viability and customer satisfaction.
Influence the leadership team to align them around delivering analysis and change to support strategic objectives.
Job Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
5 or more years of experience in a related field or 5 or more years working on significant
Appropriate certifications in Business Analysis and Delivery methodologies such as Scrum
5 or more years working on significant/high-risk projects or programs, with a proven track record of delivery.
An understanding of the Free Zones and local Market is an asset
Worked on projects for various business communities/areas within the insurance sector.
Background in Financial Services
Advanced knowledge of Visio or equivalent
ZurichLean Green Belt or Black Belt certification or equivalent
