Marsh - Business Analyst - LondonThe company: MarshMarsh is a leader in insurance broking and innovative risk management solutions, we help clients succeed by defining, designing, and delivering innovative industry-specific solutions that help them effectively manage risk with over 35,000 colleagues operating in more than 130 countries.The team: Global Digital PlacementThis position is part of Marsh's Global Digital Placement team, and will be based out of the London, UK office, reporting into the Product Owner for one of Marsh's Insurtech platforms.The team , which the candidate will work within, acts as an internal Insurtech for Marsh globally, and leads the design, build, and execution of various new insurance products, on Marsh's newest algorithmic based auto-rate, quote and bind platform, called Marsh Intuitive.The role: Business AnalystThe analyst will work as a part of the Intuitive team, and will perform both strategic functions, as well as change management execution functions, working on products that are in the RTB and CTB phases of their respective product journey.This will require close teamwork and collaboration with the Intuitive Product Manager , Product Owner(s), and other analysts, in the execution of product development and rollout work, as well as interpretation of product data to lead live products' adoption and enact company wide change management.The Analyst will be joining a team that is at the forefront of Marsh's digital transformation and will be required to think outside of the box and encourage change, whilst managing numerous internal and external stakeholders.What can you expectThe expectation for the person filling this role is to assume the activities of a BA/PM hybrid, you will:Be self-starting, highly motivated and take ownership of your project(s)Work in a fast paced environment with the Marsh Broker community across multiple classes of Insurance, drawing up business requirements and communicate to the tech vendor for schedulingBuild and develop strong relationships with a broad range of broker & underwriter usersEngage with tech development teams to ensure thorough understanding of requirementsPrioritize requirements based on MoSCoW rules Train broker & underwriters on usage and best practices Support testing activities and capture business sign-offsManage go-live activities and post go-live supportWhat is in it for youGood work life balance with a competitive salaryComprehensive benefits programs including: excellent pension contributions, private health insurance, tuition assistance, pension, employee assistance program, career mobility, employee network groups, volunteer opportunities, and other programs26 days' holiday with the option to buy or sell up to 5 days per yearThe opportunity to work and learn from a team that is implementing change within Marsh, and the insurance sectorWork with a team that strive to continually challenge the status quo, innovate, and create meaningful change within the organisation, that directly translates into designing and delivering best in class solutions for Marsh clientsExcellent training and development with ongoing career opportunities, and continuing education supportWe will count on you to:Support Product Owner with pre-dev analysis work, on any given new product launch, including but not limited to: question set negotiation with various markets and lead business brokers, agreement and negotiation of classification codes with market and business' brokers, hosting and scheduling insurer kick off meetings and product scoping sessions, and assisting in the preparation of policy wordings and document preparation.Support user acceptance testing in the testing and review of new and existing products as they undergo product changes or fixes. Support and own product strategy on live products, working with business product owners, in relaying performance stats on products, producing user guides, hosting product webinars, onboarding new colleagues, and overall supporting the change management and adoption process of a new product.What you need to have:Bachelor's degree in related discipline (business, finance, science, mathematics, engineering, management)1 to 2 + years related work experienceStrong communication and inter-personal skills and the ability to build relationships with colleagues - IS A MUSTAbility and acumen to engage and interface with senior leaders across Marsh Ability to solve business problems through consultative approach with multiple internal and external stakeholdersExperience in consultative salesProject management experienceExcellent stakeholder management skillsWhat makes you stand out:Experience in change management, digital transformation, with experience in financial services being a clear differentiatorExperience working with portfolio instruments in insurance or financial sectorExperience with Microsoft Azure cloud technology, AI implementation, API integrations and RPA integrationsGlobal experience is the world's leading insurance broker and risk adviser.
