The candidate is responsible for reviewing the organization\'s budget and approving spending requests through evidence-based analyses of merit and authenticity. They will monitor the Department\'s expenditures against set budgets while preparing accurate reports that estimate future financial needs. Their duties include organizing finances, preparing budget
reports, monitoring institutional spending and creating cost-benefit analyses with the goal of finding ways to run the company efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible financial management experience within a university, government organizational, or not-for-profit organization
Bachelor\'s in Finance, Math/Statistics, Engineering or
Accounting
Experience with budget and finance development and analysis, budget model development and staff supervision
Strong financial systems background with proven experience with enterprise financial reporting systems and computer applications such as MS Excel, MS Word, Tableau.
