Responsibilities:
Support child with focus in class
Support with following IEP and making regular observations of the child
Liaison with class teacher, Inclusion team/ senco and other relevant professionals to ensure best outcome for child.
Regular updates to parents on child progress and feedback
Be able to modify the curriculum to suit the child's needs.
Arrange and provide activities and materials to support child's learning needs.
Ensure safety and wellness of child
Implement strategies for building confidence in socializing with peers and how to have more varied play.
Use fun and creative teaching methods with the ability to think outside the box.
Send daily communication notes to parents after school on the child's learning outcomes.
Support the child in both academic and personal development, fostering independence, confidence, and strong social and emotional skills.
Patient, kind and have a passion in supporting children with SEN and helping them thrive to their best potential.
Requirements:
Fully Qualified in teaching British Curriculum
Visa and medical insurance provided
Valid Police Clearance
Minimum 2 professional references required
Qualified primary school teacher (experience in teaching lower year groups preferred)
Experience with SEN children is compulsory
Must be comfortable administering medication if required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED15,000.00 per month
