Position Overview
This Branch Retail Sales Supervisor role supports First Abu Dhabi Bank by supervising retail sales operations, driving sales performance, ensuring high-quality customer service, and coaching CSOs to achieve strong cross-sell ratios. The role maintains operational controls, supports branch leadership, and ensures that customer experience, risk compliance, and sales targets are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise retail sales operations to meet sales targets for Classic and Advantage customer segments.
  • Ensure adequate staffing and raise resource concerns to the Branch Manager when needed.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, performance input, and support to CSOs.
  • Actively sell and cross-sell asset and liability products to new and existing customers.
  • Drive daily team performance and lead retail sales meetings.
  • Attract new customers through referrals and personal business development.
  • Monitor CSO activities, provide authorizations, and support during peak hours.
  • Assign tasks fairly to ensure timely completion of daily operations.
  • Ensure adherence to audit, legal, risk, and compliance requirements.
  • Identify staff training needs and arrange required product, system, and sales training.
  • Handle authorized financial and non-financial transactions.
  • Maintain proper custody of undelivered cards, cheque books, debit cards, and PINs.
  • Respond to incoming email queries within 24 hours.
  • Conduct surprise checks and review required branch reports for audit purposes.
  • Uphold FAB service standards to achieve assigned NPS targets and ensure zero customer complaints.
  • Act as AML/Compliance Coordinator for the branch.
  • Handle safe deposit locker and cash vault custodian responsibilities.
  • Manage police alarm procedures where applicable.
  • Work closely with the Branch Manager to distribute sales targets among CSOs for optimal performance.
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Ten years of banking experience, including at least five years in a branch network supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of retail banking products and branch operations.
  • Proven leadership capability in coaching, mentoring, and driving team performance.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Good judgement in operational controls, risk management, and audit requirements.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage team performance effectively.
