We are seeking an experienced Boom Mobile Crane Operator to safely operate mobile cranes for lifting, moving, and placing heavy materials at construction and industrial sites in Qatar. The operator must follow all safety regulations, perform daily inspections, and coordinate effectively with riggers and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
Operate boom mobile cranes to lift, move, position, and place materials as per site requirements.
Set up the crane properly, including leveling and deploying outriggers.
Follow instructions from riggers/signalmen during lifting operations.
Ensure loads are rigged, secured, and lifted safely following lifting plans.
Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of crane components, hydraulics, cables, and safety devices.
Maintain crane cleanliness, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance.
Monitor crane capacity limits and avoid overloading at all times.
Follow company and Qatar safety regulations for lifting operations.
Participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and lift planning meetings.
Report any equipment defects, damages, or safety hazards immediately.
Maintain operation logs, checklists, and inspection reports accurately.
Assist site team in organizing safe work zones around lifting areas.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 5
-7 years
of experience operating boom mobile cranes.
Valid
Mobile Crane Operator Certificate
(TUV/third-party certification approved in Qatar).
Valid
Qatar Driving License
(Heavy Vehicle/Crane category preferred).
Good knowledge of load charts, crane capacity, and lifting procedures.
Ability to read and follow lifting plans and safety instructions.
Physically fit and medically cleared for crane operation.
Basic English communication required; Arabic is a plus.

Excellent hand-eye coordination and judgement.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Teamwork and coordination with rigging crew.
Attention to detail and hazard awareness.
Work Conditions
Work at construction, industrial, or oil & gas sites.
Willing to work in outdoor environments and high-temperature conditions.
Overtime, night shifts, or weekend work may be required depending on project needs.
