The

Boiler Service Technician

shall be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of commercial and industrial boiler systems.

The technician shall ensure safe and efficient operation of all boiler-related equipment, performing inspections, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine maintenance and service of steam and hot water boiler systems. Inspect and test boiler systems for safety and efficiency. Diagnose system malfunctions and identify root causes of problems. Perform repairs or replacements on pumps, valves, pressure vessels, burners, piping, and controls. Install and commission new boilers and related equipment as per design specifications. Maintain accurate service records, job sheets, and customer reports. Comply with all safety protocols, industry codes, and environmental regulations. Provide emergency breakdown support as required (on-call duty if applicable). Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams regarding technical issues and service recommendations. Stay updated with the latest technology and industry standards in boiler systems.

Qualifications and Skills:

Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Electrical (or equivalent). Minimum 2-3 years of experience working with boiler systems (industrial/commercial). Strong technical knowledge of boiler components, controls, combustion, and piping systems. Familiarity with water treatment systems and boiler efficiency practices is a plus. Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and manuals. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of occupational safety and health standards. Good communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license (preferred).
