Job Description

Job Purpose:

To manage and coordinate the sourcing, ordering, receiving, and issuing of parts required for Bodyshop repair operations, ensuring timely availability of correct parts to support efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify required Bodyshop parts based on job cards, repair estimates, and technician requests. Source, order, and follow up with suppliers for genuine, aftermarket, and OEM body parts. Check availability, pricing, and delivery timelines and communicate with the Bodyshop team. Receive, inspect, and verify parts against purchase orders and invoices. Maintain accurate parts inventory, stock levels, and documentation. Issue parts to technicians and ensure proper tracking through the system. Coordinate returns, warranty claims, and damaged or incorrect parts with suppliers. Update the system with part numbers, pricing, stock movements, and job allocations. Support estimators and service advisors with parts-related information. Ensure proper storage and organization of body parts following company standards. Maintain good relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal team members. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on parts consumption and pending orders. Uphold safety, housekeeping, and quality control standards in the parts area.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Diploma or degree in Automobile, Mechanical, or related field. Minimum 2-3 years' experience as Parts Advisor in an automotive Bodyshop. Strong knowledge of automotive body parts, components, and repair processes. Experience with DMS/ERP systems (e.g., Autoline, SAP, Oracle, etc.). Good communication and coordination skills. Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
