Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Body Shop Estimator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the automotive industry, with a focus on accurately assessing vehicle damage and providing comprehensive repair estimates. Fluency in Arabic is required to effectively communicate with our diverse clientele.

Responsibilities:

Review all repair orders with customers and/or insurance adjusters to ensure that all necessary repairs are included in the estimate

Examine vehicles to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical, electrical damage or malfunction

Thoroughly document all vehicle damages, both visible and hidden, using photographs, sketches, and computer-aided estimating systems

Research similar vehicles to find comparable costs for replacement parts and labor hours required for repairs

Utilize computer software programs to generate estimates that itemize all repair work to be completed on the vehicle

Work closely with customers, insurance companies, and auto body technicians to negotiate repairs, pricing, and timelines

Keep abreast of new technology and developments in the automotive industry that may impact repair methods or costs

Attend training seminars and workshops to stay current on best practices in the auto body repair industry

Manage a team of estimators and train new hires on company procedures

Generate monthly reports detailing departmental productivity and areas for improvement

Maintain positive relationships with customers, insurance adjusters, and vendors

Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Fluent in Arabic, with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on body shop estimating.

Proficiency in estimating software and tools, such as Solera, Audatex or CCC ONE.

Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately assess vehicle damage.

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.

Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Knowledge of automotive repair processes, including familiarity with different vehicle makes and models.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Valid driver\'s license and clean driving record.
