About the Role

We are seeking a responsible and skilled

Boat Captain experienced with tiller engine operations

to join our watersports team. The captain will be responsible for safely operating, maintaining, and navigating small boats equipped with tiller engines, ensuring passenger safety and delivering an enjoyable on-water experience.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate boats with

tiller engines

for tours, rentals, or transfers. Perform

pre-departure safety checks

(fuel, engine, life jackets, equipment). Navigate coastal and inland waters while adhering to

maritime safety laws

. Provide clear

safety briefings

and instructions to passengers. Assist with docking, anchoring, and loading/unloading guests. Conduct

basic maintenance

and cleaning of the vessel. Report mechanical or operational issues promptly. Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring guests feel safe and comfortable.

Requirements

Proven experience operating

tiller engine boats

. Valid

boat captain's license/permit

as per local maritime authority requirements. Strong knowledge of

navigation, tides, and weather conditions

. Excellent

communication and customer service skills

. Ability to remain calm in emergency situations. Physically fit, able to handle marine equipment.

Preferred

First Aid & CPR certification. Experience working in

watersports, yacht charters, or hospitality

. Knowledge of the local coastline and waters.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
