Job Description

The Boat Captain & Operation Coordinator is responsible for operating and navigating boats, conducting inspections, managing customer interactions, and ensuring that all vessels are safe, operational, and well-maintained. The role requires strong technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills to deliver exceptional service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Boat Operations:

Safely operate and navigate powerboats for various purposes which include Inspections, customer trials, tours, and transport. Perform pre-departure and post-arrival checks to ensure the vessel's safety and performance.

Inspections and Maintenance:

Conduct thorough inspections of boats to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards. Conduct PDI for boats & prepare boats for handover and Customer Trials Coordinate & Report to the Boat Operation Executive to address any mechanical or structural issues promptly. Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance schedule for the boats in the company's fleet as directed by his supervisor.

Customer Engagement:

Greet and assist customers during boat trials, rental, ensuring their needs and expectations are met. Provide guidance on vessel features, safety protocols, and operational procedures. Ensure client satisfaction by delivering unique experiences during tours and water sports activities.

Coordination and Documentation:

Follow the Schedule of boat operations, ensuring efficient use of resources. Follow inspections, repairs, and operational logs to submit to Management. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to all maritime safety protocols and legal regulations.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with sales, service, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations. Provide feedback on vessel performance and customer experience to improve services.

Qualifications:

Proven experience operating motorboats or similar vessels and Rental of Boats/ Watersport.

Mandatory certifications

(Boat Captain's License, UAE seaman Card or UAE valid STCW). UAE Driving license is a plus Strong knowledge of maritime safety standards and vessel maintenance. Knowledge of the water routes in Abu Dhabi Excellent communication and customer service skills. Organizational and multitasking abilities to handle operational coordination. Fluent in English.

Preferred Skills:

Basic mechanical or technical knowledge Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the maritime industry. Boat cleaning, testing, and basic troubleshooting.

Work Environment:

Combination of on-water and boat yard operations. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required. Physically fit

Pay: AED3,500.00 per month
