We are currently recruiting for a BMS Service Engineer for our trusted client to be based out of their office in Dubai.

Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled routine preventive maintenance under contract agreement by inspecting, adjusting, cleaning and calibrating systems and checking out equipment to ensure it\'s in satisfactory working order.
• Completes maintenance tasks within assigned time and budget, in a manner that reduces emergency calls and results in achieving the goal of zero calls back.
• Responds to emergency service calls as directed to keep system downtime to minimum. Analyzes, trouble-shoots, repairs and restores equipment/systems to full operation and recommends revisions/replacements when necessary to improve system.
• Makes minor repairs to field devices, controllers, input / output devices, servers and software as deemed necessary. Replaces the faulty components and returns them to the branch.
• Performs installing, commissioning, logic programing and system configuration for retrofits or modifications to existing systems and new projects.
• Instructs and/or trains customers or customer representatives on systems maintenance and operating procedures.
• Promotes, builds and maintains good customer relations and assists in contract retention; informs supervisor of customer needs, requirements, systems status, and actual or potential customer problems.
• Maintains records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters.
• Raise invoice request with all supporting documents, along with site certification of payment applications as applicable to ensure the payments received on time

Skills

• Relevant industry experience in Installation, Testing, Commissioning & Troubleshooting of Building Automation System
• Solid understanding on control systems, control loops, communication network, standard communication protocols (e.g., BACnet / Modbus / Lon / OPC etc.),
• Hands on experience in communication & signal cabling, monitoring and control instruments / field devices like sensor, relays, switches etc.
• Solid understanding of Logic gates (AND / OR / NOT) and Logic flow.
• Hands on experience in working with programing & configuration software of leading OEMs like Honeywell / Johnson / Schneider / Siemens etc.
• Basic awareness of HVAC system is a plus.
