Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a distinguished engineering services leader in the UAE, specializing in BMS solutions. Our client is looking to hire a Building Management System Engineer who will not only oversee complex BMS operations but also drive initiatives in lighting control, metering solutions, and energy efficiency. This role is central to optimizing building systems and liaising with key stakeholders to ensure the highest operational standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

- Building Management Systems (BMS): Implement and oversee the operation of BMS to control and monitor various building systems, including HVAC, lighting, metering, and chiller plants.

- Lighting Control Systems: Design and manage lighting control systems to enhance energy efficiency and occupant comfort.

- Metering Solutions: Monitor and manage energy consumption through metering solutions, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.

- Variable Air Volume (VAV) Systems: Optimize VAV systems to maintain optimal indoor air quality and temperature while minimizing energy usage.

- Valves & Actuators: Efficiently operate and maintain valves and actuators within building systems.

- Supervision of CPM Solution: Oversee the Chiller Plant Manager (CPM) solution to ensure the effective operation of chiller plants and associated equipment.

- Commissioning Activities: Take charge of pre-commissioning activities, daily site commissioning tasks, and resolution of commissioning-related issues. Ensure successful system handover.

- Client and Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities to obtain necessary approvals and attend progress meetings to safeguard the company\'s interests.

- Material Management: Optimize material utilization, prevent wastage, ensure proper storage, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Prepare reports on material shortages for management.

- Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to field technicians and conduct hands-on testing of BMS panels and field devices.

Requirements

- Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience in Building Management Systems (BMS) and related systems.

- Familiarity with UAE building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Project management experience is a plus.

- Certification in BMS or related fields is advantageous.
